I am picking up 0D0431 on my flights.  Airframes shows as Do328J XA-FAS.  It is squawking 5471 and is at FL340.  Non ADSB.

Currently giving the Tain Range controller something to do!!  A formation of 4 Germans wanting to route through (no, that will be around) the bombing range on their way to Perth.

Seems like these guys are doing a round-Britain flight.
http://walesairnetwork.wordpress.com/2010/05/13/achtung-achtung-german-airborne-armada-lands-at-caernarfon/

And there's SIX of them now.

EDIT: RAF Tornado aborts bombing run, followed by one of the German pilot saying "Sorry, I understood that I was cleared to transit the zone"

We are not long back from Kirkwall airport and seen around 12 of the German aircraft still lined up there. There were 18 in total but some had left before we got there.  The local news says they are doing the tour of Britain from 12-24th May.   Quite interesting to see and got a few photos too.

Thanks Andrew.  I'd be interested in any photos you got.  10 aircraft so far have managed to avoid the Tain Range zone!!

Hello Tarbat

I'll get you some photos sent in a couple of days when I get to my other computer as this one doesn't handle CR2 files as it doesn't have photoshop on this one.  It should be Friday or thereabouts.

Its the Flying Farmers tour. I believe they are stopping the night at Hatton near Longside.

Are you sure?  Reports on scotavnet suggest that these are not the flying farmers, but a group of German pilots doing a round-Britain tour.  The German pilots told ATC that they were heading to Perth.

We're expecting some of the flying farmers at Easter Airfield today, but unfortunately I can't get there today :(

Flying Farmers:
G-AXOT, G-BSPE, G-BFSS, G-SACH, G-HIND, G-GOSL, G-BIES, G-LADS, G-BDUY, G-CCPV, G-BZAM, G-CFSB, G-CEKW, G-BORK, G-BCRR, G-HOPE, G-CRUZ, N787CE

Your right enough Tarbat, Iam picking the various replies up wrongly putting 2 and 2 together and making 5.

As you say they are 2 different groups the Germans spent the night in Perth and the farmers in Hatton.  The farmers are doing day trips to Tain and other places, night stopping Thursday and Friday at Hatton before departing on Saturday.
