Hi Glennradio - you're quite right in saying it's horses for courses and I didn't mean to be presumptious in any way. Information on what works - and doesn't work - is always useful.  I gave some details of my set up in a post some time back:

I'm fortunate that I live in an essentially flat area & overcoming the problems of living in a bowl such as you describe will indeed test your ingenuity.
