I hope you dont remove the old one since it has been useful when searching for aircraft we have had to see what it has been doing before.

I had heard on the grapevine that the big threads were slowing down the forum. As I don't know how the forum works, I don't know if this is the case. The decision will be for AirNav to make.

I've heard that the Radarspotters guys are pretty clued up on the workings of SMF forums, I'm sure they'd be happy to help :-)

It seems that a maximum of 15 posts per page should ensure that the forum server doesn't struggle.

Crossing the Atlantic this morning and over London at 5:45am today was ex JAL Boeing 747-446 N744AR, Hex AA0176.  According to this video it has been prepared by the 94th AeroClaims Aviation Consultant Group at Victorville and is destined to be operated by Iraqi Airways.
