A lot of people will be thinking that it's time that our New Caledonian airlines logos were refreshed:

D-CAVE LJ35A c/n 35A-423. Mode S 3CC226 operator German Air Rescue.

Both using registrations as Flight ID's but Mode S only.

Hi Ian  - we already have German Air Rescue their ICAO code is AMB. Here's the other one, and some more from me:

PH-CIJ - C680 of Cartier Europe BV
AAR - Asiana Airlines (IATA OZ) - just noticed our old one was squashed
N491EC - GLF4 of Eastman Chemical Company
PAC - Polar Air Cargo - they seem to have gone back to this logo from the old one with the tail fin.

<Sigh>, well someday most of these US internals will report flight ids, the majority I have seen do not... hence no logos. Was there a reason that the company field was not used?

The company field is used for the registered owner whereas the flight ID will indicate the operator.

Hi carras320 Here's the Mint - it was done over a year ago, and unfortunately the old logos threads have now been removed so searching is a fruitless task!

Ian - I always get a sinking feeling when I search for an operator's name and one of the first three Google hits is Airframes! That happened with Bayam, and no, I can't find anything useful about them.

BadWolf - it's frustrating for the rest of us that so many US planes don't broadcast meaningful ID's, so it must be doubly-frustrating for you guys actually there!

We do have round about 300 different logos for N numbers, and we only have them because at some stage they have used their N numbers as Flight ID's. Some of those logos will be for large fleets like NetJets, so if you are prepared to do lots of copying, pasting and renaming of logos like that, you might be able to increase your logo count!

Having said that, I have in the past proposed to AirNav Development a new Logos routine which would get round this problem. Only time will tell whether they will incorporate that scheme in the new release that they are now working on.

My mistake with this one. Turns out the operator is Bayham Holdings not Bayam Holdings. Having checked various sights they have only one aircraft VQ-BOS and in all the pictures there is no logo shown on the aircraft. Also there is no information on the operator Bayham Holdings. So it's anyone's guess who they are!
