It's perhaps not your fault.
But the beta testers where has the mind?
Only in bright data base  :)

Thank you for your answer :)

My mind is fine thank you :-)

I never use the mouse scroll wheel for zooming, I either use the +/- buttons on the menu bar, or I right click on the map and draw a box around the area I want to zoom to.

Hello Airnav-Team.
All parameters that I use in RB works well ! Thank you very much for your hard work trough the last some weeks.
First I had some error-messages, when I let the v. 1.3 in the program files, but since I clean out completely the old version from my Vista HP, and make a install of only ANRB 2008 - it runs like a number one!

I notice that the dist/NM has dissapeared from the bottom of the reporter screen.  It was displayed under the numer Msgs/Sec.  I have checked preferences but unable to locate a way to turn the feature on, or I could be missing something here, it's been a long day.

Above feature is also something I'm missing deerly in RB2008, maybe
in a furure update it can be reinstated ?

The range data is available in the aircraft list, and you can sort it too! (although I notice now that it doesn't quite sort correctly)

My mind is fine as well.  I tested the mouse wheel in the beta, it works great for scrolling up and down the aircraft list.  Isn't that what it's supposed to do?  I had no idea it was meant to zoom the map!

@ Allocator

I know the information is there to find, but that requires me several
mouse operations, whilst in version 1.3 pointing the mouse pointer
over the aircraft label enabled me to see this information directly without
the extra required mouse actions.......

Marinus.

Marinus,

I see your point.  I'm sure that it can't be difficult to put this feature back in - maybe for the next update?

I guess Airnav lost the distance/bearing info. when they put the Hardware:Connected status at the bottom of the screen.

Agreed though, it would be nice to have distance/bearing back.

Yes of curse draw a box with a mouse. For zooming. For minimize is useless this method.
The wheel it's most easiest way anyway for me. But for now just his scroll a useless box.

I did not accuse your brains. :)
I say you give perhaps more attention to new database.
The RB program however is not only the database.
Important is also his smooth operation.

I feel sorry if were hurt somebody of my written.

No problem flyhigh, we know that you are only having fun :-)

Just imagine the problems that the beta testers for the Airbus software have - you don't want any bugs there!

Airnav,

Regarding the freezing I was having. I think I might have found the problem. Since connecting to the new PC I have been using an external USB wireless connector to my router and it was connected via a powered external USB 2.0 hub.  I have changed it to the rear PC direct connection and the prgram is a lot more stable and all the menus etc appear to operate normally. Maybe that was my problem an unstable internet connection. I am getting a Netgear WPNT 121 240mb connector from early next week - already use one on other PC and never have problems with that :-)

Don't know what I've done different but the scroll wheel seems to work on RB 2008 on my PC.  Need to make sure I've clicked on the map first though.

Just as an aside to all the above, at this moment I am picking up 892 aircraft according to the Network list with timeouts set at 180 seconds !!!!!!
