Delivery time to South Africa and Airnav bad service
« on: April 29, 2010, 08:42:56 PM »
Any other South Africans out there that ordered Radarbox via the Airnavsystems website ?

The site said it would be sent via DHL Express, but they sent it regular DHL package freight !!!!!!!
So now it has to go via the post office, which is notorious for stealing goods ( have lst 3 DVD's in through theft in just the last 2 months.

I am so angry, since I paid for DHL Express !!!
It left germany 5 days ago and there still is no sign of it on the Post Office system here.

Did they do this to others ?
How long did the delivery take ?

there is also a local representative in South Africa where you can get your products from, so no international post etc..

Just FYI to others, we are investigating this issue to which service it was sent by and we have guaranteed the customer that if delivery gets lost, he will be sent another through the proper delivery channel.

Hi Radarman,

I am the local distributor for South Africa. If you have ordered from me,you could have had it within 24hrs as I have stock available.
Do not worry, you will receive your Radarbox within the next day or 2.I had to wait a bit longer for my last shipment due to the volcano ash situation. It could also be that there is still a backlog on the UK.

Whereabout are you situated?

We also have a support group for South Africa.

Regards,

Hanno

The best delivery time i had from Airnav was 5 days.I ordered on the Friday, and received my stock on the Wednesday.

Hi hanno

Wish I knew about you earlier.
Will probably get some external antennas from you in the near future.

Hope it gets here soon.
Still shows it left Germany on 24 April and there was no record of it arriving in SA according to the Post Office system on Friday.

Last month I got a box of DVD's from europe, only to find the box empty. They cut a slit in the side and stole the DVD's somewhere in the 3 weeks it took from leaving europe to getting to me.
Thats why i wanted "DHL Express", thats a full courier service

Let's wait 3-4 more days and if it doesn't arrive contact our support again for an alternative.

Hi Radarman,

I assume you are checking your parcel on www.parcelforce.com.That is an international tracking number.Call JHB Mail centre 0860111502 and ask them for the South African tracking number.

Hanno

I am tracking it on the DHL.de site (as per the Airnav e-mail) and by calling JHB Mail Centre on that number

DHL.de shows it left Germany
JHB Mail centre says they have no record of the tracking code or UPU number of the package.

Lets wait and see
