Austrian Airlines / Air Algerie conflict in 3D?
« on: March 06, 2010, 07:25:41 PM »
Earlier this evening I had two Austrian Airline flights route overhead:

AUA94VU and AUA9718 - both appear to be Dublin to Innsbruck (two in a row - quite impressive!)

Both showed as Lauda Air flights under 'Company' in My Flights - although correct Austrian Airline logo showed. (decoded correctly from AUAxxxx flight ID?)

Not particularly bothered about the Austrian Airlines or Lauda Air conflict of info.

What does concern me is that both flights showed up in full Air Algerie livery on 3D!

Attach a screenshot.

Obviously some error in 3D in decoding AUA B738 details.

Got quite excited at seeing two Air Algerie flights in my 3D window until I saw the truth!

Cheers
Chris

Hi Chris,

I notice that your 3D view does not have that 'orrible' yellow outline for borders of countries etc, how have you removed your as I've looked all over the place for the settings to remove mine, any ideas?

Cheers Dave.
Best regards Dave.

There is a tick box in the 3D Settings/Preferences window.

I only know about this as I couldn't figure out how to turn these off either, until somebody on the forum came to my help - :-)
