Looking out the window the Mark 1 eyeball can confirm BAW206, 9120 are leaving the Lands End hold for Shannon

Ah well - closer to home I suppose though I once drove from Shannon to Nottingham and it seemed like a bl**dy long way to me.

Easyjet G-EZIJ had just passed overhead here (10miles SE of Coventry EGBE) at 16,000 on decent possibly heading towards Gatwick.

Look like it's returning to Luton. @FL80 downwind now
It went out about an hour ago.

This aircraft has been right across to Liverpool and back to Luton through all altitudes!! I thought there was a clampdown on anything moving through 20,000 over the south at the moment??

Looks like NATS are winning the stupid game of "call my bluff" with Willie Walsh.   The passengers of BAW102 will get a good view of London as they fly over.

It's crazy!! The Easyjet went upto 28,000 over Liverpool, turned and dropped back into Luton. Why couldn't BAW102 drop down into Heathrow?

This has been  / is facinating stuff. I think there will be as much fallout from this episode as the volcano produced.

BAW flights refused landing permission are presently showing on my box as BAW84 holding between IOM and NI Coastline, BAW 17V, 284 and 274 holding Shannon area, BAW 9120 and 206 were holding Landsend possibly now headed shannon and BAW102 is headed south again.

BAW38 has landed at EHAM Schipol and BAW138 seems to be approaching EBBR Brussels

BAW102 is heading south and descending over the Channel, Paris?
