Based on past experience, I'm looking forward with interest to see what non-standard alternatives AirNav dream up for some of these new ones, too :-)

Remember that for these new aircraft types, you might be able to download sihouettes from http://www.sbsbst.co.uk/iank/

Although I'm not sure Ian has done these new sihouettes for the SBS community yet.

You will need to resize each silhouette to 68x16.

I find this software useful for resizing more than one image:

Ian K has announced that he has stopped supporting Airnav.  He has taken down all the silhouettes in our size format.  Whilst individual users can resize Ian K's SBS sized ones.  Copyright infringement means that these resized ones cannot be published for the benefit of our community (new users will not know they even exist without heavy trawling of previous forum topics).

Airnav

I again urge you to provide an update to your silhouettes package to include A149, BE45, EA40, G250 and G650 as a minimum.  I have said before this should urgently be provided to users (including new users on the CD they recieve) alongside the updated D008.DAT and flags folders from Tarbat and Rod's full set of Logos (I am sure both the later will give you full permission).

If not for us loyal users, but for those new users pulling their new radarbox out of the packaging and then wondering why all the bizjets they pick up are not displaying silhouettes, the Bermudian aircraft have British flags etc.

We know you are urgently actively working on the database update issues, but can we get these small easily cured irritations as an earlier interim via a zip file.

Where do the resizing crew find original silhouettes?

This is the link and the size you need to use.

Note that Ian has now released silhouettes for these new ICAO codes - see http://www.kinetic-avionics.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=6658&start=795#p94410

I convert these using FastStone Photo Resizer, just load in the attached settings file (16high.ccf).

Gives these new silhouettes.

Thanks to Tarbat for the link etc and Ian for the silhouettes.

Now a question re silhouettes.  At this time I have ATR72 EI-REP of Aer Arran  showing along with its flight ID of REA23GL, there is no silhouette showing however just 3 dots.  I have an ATR72 in the silhouettes so why doesnt it show?.

Also showing EI-REL with no flight ID but it is showing a silhouette?

You need to change your AT field in the Aircrfat database from ... to AT72 and the next time it is picked up you should see a silhouette.
