I have 777 G-VIIK BAW9262 at FL400 on screen just now turning left at Aberdeen.  It is showing as operating London City-Gatwick, now that would have been interesting!!.  I take it this is one of the cabin crew training flights?.

BA already announced that they would be flying empty aircraft for positioning purposes.

It does not surprise me that BA is repositioning aircraft, it's just that they are flying empty aircraft much further than I had expected.

Today's "cancelled" BAW178 from JFK is currently on it's way back to Heathrow.
