Hardware: not connected :(
« on: February 20, 2010, 09:49:47 PM »
after 2-3 hours working, i get this note at the bottom. :(

I close the software, but the blue LED is still blinking.

and the only things to do is:
1. pull out the USB cable and put it back again,
or restart the computer.

One thing to check.  In Device Manager, make sure that power saving is un-ticked in "Power Management" for the USB hub(s).

I suffered a problem like this for many months, finally solved it when replacing the USB cable with a high quality shielded one.

Might be worth a try ?

The USB root hub power saving is in the Hardware tab of the computer's properties menu, open by right clicking on Computer or My Computer icon.

As for cables, USB2.0 signals are sensitive to interference and if the cable is not of adequate quality it is possible for the data to be corrupted and prevent the driver working properly.

i try to connect on different computer with the same USB cable, and up until now (12 Hr) it's working fine.

Lucky me. ;-)
