AIRCRAFT ICON

Hi
I am a new user of radarbox so this might be a silly question.Normaly the icons are of airplanes but sometimes it is a cross in a circle  why ?

It's for aircraft that are not transmitting a headiing.

It's for aircraft that are not transmitting a headiing.

Aircraft that do transmit heading get the circle symbol too (for example a lot of US B777s). 

Only those that transmit track get the aircraft symbol.
