The External KML Manager dialog box needs to sort the KMLs alphabetically.  With nearly 100 to chose from, finding the right one is very difficult with them listed in random order.

Must be on O/S thing - using XP Sp3 here and they are sorted alphabetically

Using Vista:

All was going well with testing.  I've run 3D again today and with the Network settings on Medium, all my little aeroplane symbols in the coloured spheres have vanished!

Also, in the 3D country and county boundaries seem to have appeared where they did not exist before and I can't see any way of turning them off.  Using the RB Country boundary etc options do not seem to affect the 3D view, only the 2D view.

I've tried changing all the 3D Preferences, but I can't get the aeroplane symbols back.

No problems using Windows 7 64 bit

One bug reported remains: the Preferences window jumping to the background when ticked (not always, but occasionally). Great product though, enjoying it thanks to you...

Frank

Hi Frank

I am not seeing the Preferences window problem on my Win 7 systems here.

cheers,

Kevin

On my setup it does occur only when the application is running in 3D mode. Running in 2D (mapview) gives no problems...

Frank

It is not doing this for me in 3D mode or 2D mode we must have something setup differently.

Kevin

Hi Kevin,

You could be right there I think. I will watch this one...

3. When I switch back to the 2D map, the map is zoomed out a lot further than it was before I went into the 3D map.  The 2D map should retain all it's settings even if you switch to the 3D map and then back.

Also, when changing to 2D view or split view from the 3D window, the following are always selected to 'On'

Airports
Highways/Interstates
States
Country Boundaries
Urban Areas

If you deselect all these then go back to the split view, they are switched on again.

I suspect it's a file system issue, rather than the OS.  My ANRB is installed on a FAT32 partition, are you using an NTFS partition?  FAT32 shows files in a command prompt listed in the order the files were created, and the KML manager really needs to then sort the files alphabetically.

Not happening for me, I selected them off in 2D mode and they stay off even in split mode.

Don't know if this is a bug, or just bad data from the EZY aircraft.

I have seen them going backward but probably this is an avoidance procedure ;-)

Confirmed - same here.

I've seen a couple of those in the past (not in the latest version). You must have been fast to catch it, everytime by the time I've started up the screen capture program, they have corrected themselves.

Are we all starting from clean installs?

At this point in time I have copied no extra files in to the latest Airnav3D  directory and I am not seeing some of the problems reported.

I did an uninstall/reinstall - there would have been a few "user files" that got carried over....

The previous v4.02b was a totally clean install for me.
