Photos of aircraft logged
« on: July 13, 2010, 10:35:09 PM »
Forgive me if this is mentioned elsewhere in the forum but it is 11.30 pm and this is the first chance to sit down today. I checked my flights and see a pic of an Islander belonging to our local council, the plane appears to be sitting outside the hangar at the airstrip. Now if I am correct someone local would have to have taken that photo or a tourist visiting the region, just wondering if there is anyway of finding the source of the photo.

If you click on the image it will open the source on airlines.net where should show owner of image and a method of contacting them.

There is a faster way than waiting for next time of logging this particular AirCraft -if you have the Registration of the AirCraft of course:

-Goto "File"
-chose "Database Explorer"
-under "Select Table" chose "Aircraft"
-At "Text to Find" enter the Registration of the AirCraft you want to look up
-"Condition": IN , ""Field": AR
-After using the "Find" your AirCraft should be the only one displayed in the list.
-scroll to right edge, there you can find the links of the pictures your RB Software has already downloaded.
-Click on one of the cells with a link, use F2 to "open" the cell, use CTRL+C to copy the link. Click on any other cell to close the selcted cell. Do not use ESC, if you use ESC RB Soft will go to fullscreen-mode.
-Paste the copied link in your Browser.
-Done
