I can understand military helos not being shown but do commercial helos have mode-s?
Are they shown on PP?
There are some airport web sites in the USA where helos are shown so something must be possible?

We get occasional returns from Super Pumas, especially around Aberdeen, so some definitely have Mode-S.

In the UK at least, helicopters that habitually fly IFR usually have Mode S.

I think Jeremy meant ADS-B. Most mil helicopters have Mode-s but do not broadcast ADS-B.

Some helicopters, particularly those working the North Sea, have full ADS-B.
