Bypassing the log in screen

Hi folks, I have searched the forum and unable to find the thread I saw it in, but how do you by pass the log screen when loading up RB?

Just add /connect to the command line as in pic below.

Add " /connect" at the end of the file name in the target box of the link you use to start ANRB.

i.e. before "C:\AirNav RadarBox 2009 - 3.13\ANRB.exe"

after "C:\AirNav RadarBox 2009 - 3.13\ANRB.exe" /connect

I use Windows 7 and launch from the Taskbar. I can't find a similar method under Win 7 to attach the /connect - can anyone help please?

Dean - I've never used Win7, but can you right-click the icon and choose Properties from a menu?

No, unfortunately that option isn't there. Win 7 works by right clicking on whatever file you want to attach to the taskbar and clicking a box to so attach it- there are no options. Unlike the previous versions of Windows where you could put the /connect in the command I can't find a similar feature in 7.

I use Win7 and I get it to work ok.

Firstly remove the Airnav icon from the taskbar.

Now click on the Windows Button and and click All Programs and navigate to the ARNB icon. Something like Airnav Systems/Radarbox 2010 From here right click on the Airnav Radarbox icon and select properties.

This will bring up the dialogue box as shown previous on this thread. Make the change and save. Now copy the icon back to you task bar.

The clue is in the title of the thread.

By adding the /connect argument, RadarBox won't pause at the login screen and so can be launched automatically via a batch file or on boot-up.

Tried the option of going to the source file and properties. However the option isn't there in my Win 7 to add anything and the box is different as below.

Are you right-clicking on the Shortcut, or the exe file itself?

This is XP, but the first picture is the exe file properties and the second is the Shortcut properties.

he must not choose the .EXE file but the shortcut to it

Job sorted now I have pinned the shortcut to the taskbar. Seems a bit of bad design not being able to /connect from Taskbar direct to the .exe.

Still - got it going.
