AirNav reporter
« on: December 19, 2009, 10:37:32 AM »
I have been trying to send a daily log from Reporter to several recipients. The trouble is that only part of the log gets sent. In my case it is about the first 500 or so contacts. As I live near the Lambourne VOR beacon I usually get over 2000 individual flights a day in Reporter.

Is the issue with the AirNav box or the server that is used to send my message.

Any assistance appreciated.

Nigel

This is a known problem, and is a server issue.

I've asked before but I'll ask again...why is it that we have to go through the AirNav Server anyway?

Surely if the log originates on our own PC and is handled by our own application surely it would be easier (and reduce the load on AirNavs servers and Development team) if we were able to directly specify an email address (or addresses) where we would like our log emailed to??

The fewer the links in the chain then the less chance of things going wrong surely?

Thanks & regards,
-=Glyn=-

I'm glad this matter has been raised again, as it has persisted for quite some time now. Can we please have an answer Airnav ?

Thanks

We are having a look at it...now. If it is server related it has something to do with the technology change we made in Nov. Stby for further news.
