« on: December 05, 2009, 02:35:40 AM »
Someone can explain me how it was possible to do this screeshot?

remove the ftp:// ahead of the rest and place a ':' between the http an the '//', or try it now:

If you zoom out a long way, then the labels will disappear as there isn't room to see them, but I can zoom out to view most of the UK before this happens.

O.K.

By the way, Allocator on SBS this also happens? Or is it more real as the radar of the ATC?

Thanks

What do you mean 'more real as the radar of ATC'?  If you zoom out with a real radar display as far as I have with my second picture, all the labels overlap and you can't read them.

This also happens with the labels of the airports, VOR's, etc ...?

Depends on the radar display.  A controller will work with the minimum 'clutter' so you turn off all the stuff you don't need.  Also, you don't need the VOR/Airfield labels displayed, because you know what they are.  If you need a reminder, you can switch the labels on briefly.

If I try to make a screenshot (SBS) equal to that in RB waypoints will disappear. It will not be possible to do this also in RB.

If you zoom out a long way, then the labels will disappear as there isn't room to see them, but I can zoom out to view most of the UK before this happens.

Interestingly this seems to be a variable amount. Today I managed to zoom out and include the detail labels for all of South East Australia and New Zealand, but I can not duplicate it. Usually I can only have labels displayed for perhaps half of New South Wales.

two examples attached. firstly the with the abnormal range labelled and secondly the normal display for that range.

I'd like to know how to maintain the label info for much larger areas like the first image that I've only ever done once!

Have you tried changing the size of the font used in the labels?

Have you tried changing the size of the font used in the labels?

I've always used the defaults - which is "Terminal 9" here, and didn't change it in the examples above.

I just did a quick test through, through all the "Terminal" sizes and it doesn't make any difference. Currently I can only get an area about 1/10th the size of the first one above (Aus, Tas, NZ) before the text just turns to dots and I lose the Flight Level display.
