Question.  Why does RB keep overwriting my NavData with "Tie-up extracted from Country Sequence" if I already have the right info in my DB?  Wish there was a way to somehow LOCK certain codes so they don't get modified wrongly by the network update.

No problems running Beta V3.13 with Planeplotter here.

I've just 'rediscovered' Planeplotter, so it's on all the time at the moment :-)  Are you running the latest version of PlanePlotter?

Yes, 5.4.4.3 (Registered).

I have been out for a couple of hours, and it didn't crash whilst I was away, but as soon as I am back it crashed. I will reboot the PC to see if that helps.

Do you have anything in the photographer and link fields?  I've put an 'x' in all mine and that seems to stop it.

Allocator,

Recommended setting for Mode S source is SBS1/RBv3 tcp.

Thanks Tom, I'll give that a go - just too many options to choose from - lol

Very impressed with how MLAT has developed since I tried it last.

It is certainly very impressive now. What we need now is mlat tracking of multiple tagets :o)

I could not get mlat to operate on my laptop with a Vodafone mobile broadband dongle. I fitted a new '3' dongle today and it worked straight off.  I can't wait to take it to Mildenhall now.

Yes, the problem with mobile broadband is that you're stuck with the operator's policy on whether the pass all incoming ports and all traffic types through to the subscriber. 3 do, but it seems no one else does.

I use my Orange 3G Broadband Dongle with PP and MLAT without any problems - as a subscription option rather than a Master User, as I really can't be bothered to run my SBS-1 as well as the RB.

Allocator,

You mean you are a Master User. The other option is Ground Station where you are one of the SBS-1 users contributing data to mulilateration.

I'd like to be a Ground Station as the number of those is small in this area. Do you wan to sell your SBS?

Oh, OK - whatever I am, I'm paying to see the MLAT data rather than contributing it.

I'll keep my SBS-1 in the forlorn hope that one day I'll get the MapModeS data that Kinetic promised when I purchased it.

Looks like I'll have to wait for another one or get an Aurora.
