Continental Airlines 738 transatlantic?!
« on: November 25, 2009, 07:54:51 PM »
Amazed to see this aircraft had originated in Edinburgh! Checked the reg. and it's a 738 alright.

Are 738's really doing this kind of flight? I know there are BBJ's etc, but this a/c appears to be standard from what I can see of its pics
Was 32 NM SSW of YPPH.......where the sun shines.
Previously 31NM NNW of EGCC....where it didn't shine!
Now back near EGCC, Oh, how I miss the sun!!!

As far as I can work out,  COA37 is a multi-leg flight - Edinburgh to Newark to Orlando.
Yes, the leg you saw it operating was with N78501 (Mode S AAA58B).
I suspect it swapped a/c at Newark.
