Manufacture Q's
« on: November 16, 2009, 11:39:07 PM »
How do I tell where my RB was made ?

I believe some are manufactured in EU and some in China ?

Is there a way to tell?

Paul.

Duh!

Sorry, too easy. 'Made In China'

I read that the Chinese units have a reputation of being inferior to the EU made. Is that correct?

Any more info on this?

Cheers,
Paul.

Totally incorrect, a rumour that was started by the competitions to damage our rep.

In fact the newer boxes are rumoured to be slightly more sensitive and also have an improved static filter.

My that was made in Europe is less sensitive and has a filter less than that made in china?
I got mine a month ago!

But still prefer the one made in Europe not be made with slave labor, which is what happens in that country!

I do not mean to say that the fault of AirNav.

The boxes are absolutely similar. Same hardware, same design, same components and a slightly changes filter. The rumors our competitors start are simply amazing.

What if they started to work on their own software which doesn't have a real update for 3 years? :-)

Having done business in China (setting up a factory there) I can tell you that is BS... Please don't talk through your behind, we are not talking about textiles here but about electronics. There is a world of difference...

Airnav, one short thread, and in two separate posts you have to criticise the competition.  Why?  nobody even mentioned competition until your posts. I really can't understand your paranoia.  If your product is that good, competition shouldn't worry you one iota, and doesn't even deserve a mention.

Unfortunately Deadcalm we have confirmed cases in the past (not paranoia at all, details from dealers selling both products) where the competition has spread false facts about us to affect our sales.

If these false rumours were never started we would never have to respond to them.

Just a minuspoint is that it isn't ready for production, ah, that is just a bagatelle ;-)

I want to compete with my, chinese made, SR162
