Hi Romdouk I just logged in to ask about the same Herc. it is there again tonight and was around for hours ysterday. I'd be interested to know what, who or why it is there???? I'm also in Northern Ireland , Bangor. Any thoughts anyone???

i logged this aircraft at 24000ft at 15.45-16.05 in newcastle i can cover some of northern ireland with high level traffic but this hight is to low to show up that far away

He's just timed out from me here in Lancashire - seen him for the last 3 days.
Just out of interest, have we been seeing the almost omni-present "snooping" Islanders recently? Just wondering if there's possibly a connection...

Update - whilst I wasn't looking he changed squawk to 7030 and last recorded alt was 2075' so I guess he has landed at Aldergrove.

Hi With thanks to Razor from another site the following.
When using RRR617-619 its usually Special Forces related (or has been in lots of previous SF exercises).
RRR673 callsign is also a tactical callsign (670-673).
