AirNav,

What is going on. The Network has been off all day as has the forum and emails. Only local traffic being picked up.
Finally managed to get through and now, so far, working ok.
Major problem at your end ?

Network has just gone down again, guys. It is, of course, Friday the 13th !

Edit:
Back again but seems to be back to the unstable mode.

Our systems didn't show it going down, might have been internet issues down stream for a bit.

Network up and down like a yoyo here. Green lights, yellow lights red lights - like a traffic light but no flights.

Whoops- flights back again. Unstable would be an understatement.

As our support reported it was a bad week for us. We had one hardware failure which caused our main server to be down. All seems to be corrected now.

If you count the alerts via email or ability to generate and email a log then the server is still down.

The network flights, weather are back and the photos are sloooooow.

I also express my frustration as a customer, infrequent, occasional outages are expected. This is pressing the limits of reliability.

We understand your concerns but in 2 years and 3 months of RadarBox we had the network down for no more than 90 hours. We recently had a major server upgrade and we are still fine.-tuning it.

With all due respect, as a customer, I looked back in the threads and saw no mention of a major server upgrade. It certainly would be worthy of a sticky at the top of the forums announcing such a significant event as a major server upgrade especially with impacts to the customer. Advertising new products with a sticky won't due much for business if the existing customers think the existing product is broken.

We appreciate your improvements and efforts since ultimately the customer would benefit.

As a suggestion for the future, don't bury announcements of major upgrades with potential customer impacts deep in a thread. Put out an announcement, make it prominent on the forums page.

You would be surprised at the level of patience and understanding gained when the customer realizes it's ultimately for their benefit.
