Poll - Have you Subscribed to Real Time Network ?
« on: October 16, 2009, 12:29:23 PM »
How many of us are now subscribed, (Or Thinking of) subscribing to RTN ?

I'm giving it some thought, but as I only just bought my RB, I might be a tightwad for 12 more months till the free 5m delay subscription expires.

Paul.

Hi Paul,

I am tempted too, but await the time when the the software development hits its milestone and a full version of the software is released rather than the Beta thats available now.

Nope, not until they give you access to the network data until then it's PlanePlotter for my network data. :)

For anyone that uses thir RB in counjunction with ATC then it is a must! I subscribed this morning and the difference is, in my opinion amazing, as I can now view areas that are out of RB range, but within my scanners range and I no longer have to imagine where the a/c may be in 5 mins time.
I'm also looking forward to listing in on some live ATC from other parts of the world & it being in 'tune'...

Negative. I use PlanePlotter for remote aircraft. It's free after one-off payment and I can see and track mode-s aircraft too.

No - will need a lot more incentive :-)
Lets see what happens when the novelty dissapears after the first subscribtion run's out.
But you can't fault AirNav they are at the top of their game, or at least fast on the way to getting there. Lots of inovations, once I don't have to be a guinea pig for Beta software for the next year or so, I'll be more than happy with the way it is now.
Now, where's that fault list gone ;-) Only kidding.
Still the number 1 product on the market for radar tracking.

Up to now have'nt bothered much with network, except the odd visit to airports/areas abroad that I have visited, but the live version looks attractive, mainly because it will fill in my blind spots. Jan next my current network freebie expires, so will probably wait until then before I sign on.
