Wirelles USB hub
« on: November 06, 2007, 10:13:48 PM »
Hi to all

I’m wondering if the RB it’s possible to works with one of these gizmo's.
No wires and sort length of coaxial cables.
Something likes that perhaps.

We haven't done any tests to confirm whether it does or does not work.

However whats important first is that RadarBox needs a USB connection with sufficient power (unpowered USB hubs hence cannot power it)

Thank you for replay RB support

This hub's has input plug to fit external power supply similar to usb I think 3 or 5volts DC  for connected usb devices. The important thing is compatible with RB or not. Is untested you say and I understand that.

I have been working on this and at the moment the answer is no with the D link. Lantronix do a solution but cost is a bit steep and at the moment does support Vista. Watch this space and I will keep you posted
