« on: July 08, 2009, 10:08:04 AM »
I was wondering if someone from the London area could check a registration for me?
Im looking for the reg of BAW 307 on the 22nd of June, I was on that flight, but the great French authorities didnt let me take any photos so i dont know what i was flying on..it was an A321, i think G-EUPX but not sure at all...
thx in advance :)

I have mine sealed in an old video cassette plastic case- perfect fit. 2 holes for leads and sealed. have checked for heat build up -none. cant see you having a problem.

Do not forget that nylon causes static build up and you don't want to cause an issue with the receiver front end.

Back to the shed guys and build yourself a Faraday Cage to fit the RB box, that should keep the static at bay ;)

static on the actual decoder or the antenna?

Since the antenna socket is on the back of the decoder that would be too close for comfort in my opinion.

Just a warning.

Jordan,

You seem to have changed the post at the top of this thread.  you were asking about making a nylon case for your RadarBox, but now the question is about checking a flight ID for a particular flight - the thread no longer makes sense :-(

Jordan - you are welcome to carry on with further questions in this thread, but, as Allocator said, changing thread names and altering old questions makes the answers seem like jibberish and confuses us all!
