Flightstore Radarbox Deal
« on: June 30, 2009, 09:40:49 PM »
Flightstore in West Yorkshire have got a good deal on RadarBox at the moment.  The top rate of postage eats up most of the 17% discount, but if you CAN wait, then there are cheaper rates :0)

http://www.flightstore.co.uk/prod/KINAIRNAV/SFVRAD/SFVRAD/

It doesn't say what version of the RB software that it comes with, but as you can download the latest version from the AirNav site or from here, that doesn't matter a jot!

Maybe a second box for portable use :-)

So, recessions really do push prices down, that's about 7 quid cheaper than at the beginning of the year.

Cheapest deal I have seen so far was for £325 - a special show price at AeroExpo (Booker) a couple of weeks ago.

Why? As long as you use PayPal you should be covered, especially with a transaction of that size. Never had a problem with either buying or selling on Ebay, maybe I have been lucky !

Ebay is fine, same advice applies there as to any other online site.

I've bought and sold over 150 items on Ebay, including virtual radar devices, cameras, lenses, binoculars and radio scanners.  Never had a problem and got some great bargains.

Ebay employs 15,000 people and turns over $15bn a year.

Ebay turns over $15bn a year.

If 99.9% of transactions are honest, then the 0.1% of transactions that are not equates to $15 million dollars. Thats one hell of a hit to someones pocket.

I love eBay - never had a bad transaction, Where did that 99.9% figure come from?

I pulled a figure from the air.

I have no idea actually on how many bad deals there are on Ebay.

That's a relief - I know that I, for one, couldn't run the risk of losing $15 million ...
