What happens when you shut down RB and restart it, do you still have no map?

Do you have a blank map, or is there no map at all?

I'm not running RB at the moment, so working from memory - what happens when you use Map > Open > Default?

OK, so use Map > Load and load one of the other map locations that come with the standard install - or use Map > New and pick a new location.

The list of menu option at the top left of the RB window - it says File Filters Map etc

Left click on Map

Click on Open/Save

Open any of the maps you see listed

When the map opens, zoom out so you can see a wider area and scroll the map to your home area - or click the Home button on the menu bar if you have set your home position.

Zoom in as required.

I've got to  go to work now, so I leave you in the capable hands of the other forum members - somebody with RB running in front of them will be better than me working from memory :-)

If you use Windows Explorer can you go the the Map directory and see if there are any files in there?

Right click on start menu to bring up explorer
