How have they managed to continue to operate when the holding company went in to liquidation last year leaving so many people without holidays?
Were they sold off? if so why keep the name?

If my memory is correct it was only XL UK that was liquidated, XL France and XL Germany both continued to operate.

Nortonbeak,
You are quite correct. It was only the UK operation which went bust. The French and German business was not affected.
Cheers,

I have done a bit of digging and the holding company which owned all three went in to receivership but Straumur-Burdaras Investment Bank bought the French and German operations.
