Since down loading the new update I am getting a broken purle line flying along rather than an aircraft ? It isnearly always the nearest aircraft to me, with all the others showing as normal. Is there a something I have done which I shouldn't have ? I would be grateful for any help in laymans terms.

Rural Outpost

This is an issue with Beta3 which will be fixed when the beta update is released.

As mentioned this is a known issue. Will be glad to see it fixed as it kind of defeats the purpose of the RB in identifying what is there. In the meantime when you see the broken purple line, zoom in the map and back out again and the aircraft details should appear. You may be surprised at the number of 'missing' aircraft which suddenly 'reappear'. A pure pain.

Cheers

I have tested a fix for this bug and it does work although I don't think it will be a temporary patch and with be rolled in to the next beta 3 update.

The sooner the better. I'm tempted to return to version 2 !

I want to "track" a specific flight AF684ZA and the postal flight FP*
so no problem for the postal (FP0748) there is an alert, but nothing
for AF684ZA who is in the same time on the screen ????

What's wrong ? Bug or it's me about definition of alert ?

F6GSG Airnav are aware of the alerts issue with v3 beta. It's in their high priority fix list.

I have gone back to 2.01.
V3 Beta is too flakey for me at the moment. It needs a major update!
The closed beta test obviously didn't work!

i would agree with you the closed beta was no good, i was very surprised at the outcome.
but there's a hell of a lot of effort being put in by forum members at the moment, in the beta testing.
and i know airnav have said its what they want, it should  work out for the best in the end up.
