Hi Airnav,

Noticed a marked increase in recieved flights today (Average in myflights up from 60 -70 to 70-90) and I'm about 300 on up one what I would normally have recieved by this hour.

Two small bugs you may want to look at

1. We now have EGCN Doncaster Robin Hood Airport (Thank you) but no airfield label
and you have removed Sheffield City Airport but left the label. (screenshot 1)

2. When going from full screen and pressing esc to go back, the map disapears. (screenshot 2)

Cheers John

Edit - Had to reboot RB to get the map back if this helps

Can anyone tell me how to get the up/down arrows - I'm only seeing the +/-

Without messing around with your Window fonts, +/- is the only option.

I see - I must have mis-understood, I thought this was one of the enhancements in the beta release !

- Duplicates in the Reporter bug corrected;
- Remember of Last Color Used;
- Up/Down arrows to show Vertical Rate on maps;

At the risk of being boring it does say in the list of features in this beta release that up/down arrows will be displayed, as shown in the above copied from the announcement.

Is this just done via the fonts as previously stated (with the associated route problem with the hyphen) or is it is a software fix - in which case it's not working !

@snowman

as this message indicates - http://www.airnavsystems.com/forum/index.php?topic=2855.msg25337#msg25337 - I'm afraid that there are no up/down arrows in the Beta 3. (Looks like an unreviewed "copy & paste" transaction from the old v 2.10 announcement might be the reason this info made it into the new release message).

Fair enough - would be nice to have it the official 3.0 release though !

I suspect Airnav are busy on more important things - like fixing the bugs!!

I believe that EasyBCD has the ability to turn off the Vista 64 driver signing requirement, you can download it free from NeoSmart. Google will find it for you.

Please not until the bugs are all squashed, the wide beta has been available less than 24 hours, I'd hope that the final release won't appear for a couple of weeks to give time to ensure it works correctly on a wide range of hardware and on at least XP with any SP and Vista with any SP. I'm sure Airnav don't want to have people moaning about bugs again for an extended period :)

These aren't duplicates "per se" ... the Callsign block changed.  There are a handful of aircraft in the world that have this problem ... I have some heuristics I've developed over the years about what to do about them, but for now I'd say that's not really a bug in ANRB.

Fenris, Thanks for your help. I have done as you have said and downloaded the program, rebooted and selected the disable Vista 64 button. This did not work immediately so I have again tried to reload the drivers, but to no avail !
Do you have any other thoughts?
Thank you

Installed the full version of V3 beta, however when I try to launch the program a message box appears ¨ARNB.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close¨  I am running XP pro SP3.  I notice others are experianceing the same problem, but is there a fix?

Stephen

No fix yet.  I believe we might have wait till 2200.  In the mean time have loaded this.

http://www.airnavsystems.com/download/ANRB/ANRB15Setup.exe

Not sure which version it is but it is the only one I could find.
