Hi

I have tried both the upgrade an full download.  When I try to run the programme I get this message.

ANRB.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Dudley

Same problem here, I get the same message, neither the update or full program works, tried it on two different machines, both XP Pro SP3.

Not a great start.

Screenshots should it be any help, get same messages on both Desktop and Laptop, both running XP Pro SP3.

I found a bug. When I go to full screen and then return by pressing escape the aircraft are shown but not the map.

Tom

Seems to work OK on my laptop.  I get everything back when I exit full screen.

Okay. The drop-down list was the problem. Now let's focus on the VOR and the other problems. Thanks everyone.

Yes, the navigation data was always going to be a difficult area to beta test, without knowledge of the whole world.  Is it worth a separate thread for people to post missing VORs, NDBs, FIXs, etc...

Just tried the full screen view and then return by pressing escape and the map does not show, just the aircraft.

Please do not post individual VORs which are missing. The database should have the latest AIRAC Cycle. So if there missing there may be something to do with the data being passed through into RadarBox we will check.

Also just a reminder again. This is a beta so we are to catch bugs and any suggestions. To the guys who can't run the software, we are investigating this, this wasn't seen in any of the closed beta tests.

Don't know about those others reporting the full screen + esc problem, but v2.0 always did this for me so it's a bug that has not yet been fixed.

I also have the problem of a blank blue screen when returning from full screen, with just the aircraft displayed on a blue background.  Worked okay in the final closed beta.

Quick fix is to do on the menu bar - MAP - OPEN/SAVE - OPEN MAP.

How about new VORs on the map that aren't actually VORs! How did that happen?

Just check the times on those duplicates.  I'm only getting them when they are well separated in time.  Maybe being seen as 2 separate flights?

Ditto on duplicates in MyLog.  I only see duplicates when there's a time-gap between flights.  Looks okay to me.

Just done a full install.

Runs faster, menu's faster, search engine faster.

It's just faster.

Ditto on duplicates in MyLog.  I only see duplicates when there's a time-gap between flights.  Looks okay to me.

Looking at Allocator's log extract, it seems that the two aircraft that are listed twice are first on the outward and then on the return legs of their routes, so they are probably legit 'dupes'. Less sure about the first 4 entries, the second pair looks similar but one route missing, and the first pair has too little information to work out what's happening.

I suspect it is useful to know that you've seen something twice, even if the times are not *that* far apart.
