Hello
i write again my question : is possible to create  a "style VCR" for the recorded flights? If I register for a whole night, then I am forced to stay eight hours in front of the monitor to find an interesting flight ... very uncomfortable...
Let me know please
Bye
Patrizio

Hi Alitalia,

This is already covered in Terre's list although its description could be altered a little for clarity maybe?

15.    Flight recorder - Faster playback of recordings

Kind regards,

Some more ideas:

- Ability to draw temporary lines/dots on the map (as in PowerPoint presentation)
- Ability to measure distances with mouse- "Ruler" (as in Google Earth)
- Ability to show/hide Outlines & Fixes, etc. by single/group selection
- User definable aircraft symbols (eg. triangle, dot, cross, etc.)

Or better still some sort of media player bar with Stop, Pause, Play, Beginning, End (maybe FF/REW) and a slider bar showing progress much like most of the media players out there?

Even a simplified interface such as the standard Microsoft Sound Recorder that has been present in most versions of Windows would do the job.

Kind regards,

Great list Terre

Some things I have been thinking about since playing with Beta 3, and having now taken my RB to Paris and Amsterdam.

1. Reported - ability to create a list of arrival and depatures listing for a specific day, in time order. Based on altitude and distance from your location?

There is a poster on our local Manchester group who can do this from an SBS utility to show any aircraft that landed or departed from MAN (EGCC), so not quite sure how it is done.

2. Ability to have multiple filters in MyFlights. You can only select one "Quick Filter"

3. Preference to set specific aircraft types not to be displayed in MyFlights (and in Map if ADSB).

For example, I am not interested in light aircraft like Cessna 152s. On a recent trip to AMS, I had quite a few showing like that.

Would also like these not to be logged in MyLog.

With the recent CAA news, I guess more and more aircraft will start to be logged, hence why it will be good to have a block on aircraft people are not interested in

Thanks AirNav for all the hard work, it is appreciated by myself

Rick

Terre,

I'm using FirFox and the text on the voting page overlaps so that it's unreadable.  This may just be a FireFox issue?

Received from a user and adding it to this discussion.
"I do not know if this is possible but when you click a spot and drag the courser and instead of moving the map it shows the bearing and a line from where you clicked to the current mouse position (like a real radar at ATC would)?"

PS. when developing a new version the first thing we will do is to read this forum topic so please make sure all the suggestions are written/noted here.

@ Allocator

Thanks for your info. And yes, it seems to be a Firefox issue -  I do get the overlaps on my system using FF, too. Will try to fix it.

Edit: Firefox issue should be solved. (Some good old breaks <BR> did the trick. See special Link in post.

Allocator, terre

Yes the overlap seems to be a firefox issue, tried it in IE and it was OK
