Hi.
For a next version I would like to have the possibility of displaying Indicated Air Speed (IAS) on the IAS colloumn.

Hi

seen a few comments in here about VCR features.
I don't use the record feature myself, but instead of trying to re-invent the wheel, my suggestion is to make the 'recording' in a choice of external media player formats, eg wmv/avi, then the job is done, finished.
Let AirNav stick to what they are good at and not get bogged down with having to support their own media player.

Thing is, there is no videostream that gets recorded, but pure data. So it's not an other kind of media player that is asked for. The demand is for controls like with a VCR to give the option to speedup, rewind, etc. the playback of the flight data.

The IAS is rarely available, if at all - AFAIK.

One implementation of this could use different colours to indicate different altitudes.  Something like this:

Tarbat, a rather good solution. That is exactly what I was asking for.

You can use Overflight Logger to achieve this.  Available from http://homepage.ntlworld.com/robinsonfizz/Alansworld/sbs-1/ofl/index.html

Yes agreed tarbat, but would be nice if it was in-built to the software

Another feature that would make the app more functional for me at least, much nicer to use and which I don't recall being mentioned recently would be the ability to select an aircraft and have only that flight appear on the radar screen (and possibly in MyFlights) so you can easily keep track of it without the screen being cluttered by other aircraft?

This would be a quick & easy way to track a single aircraft on the virtual radar screen without resorting to filters, Fleetwatch etc. and without losing your place in the list as it would ususlly be jumping around all over the place?

What I would like is to be able to click to select the aircraft and then click a single icon to remove all others from the radar screen and list leaving just the selected aircraft visible?

Much like the video version of the Mute button in a music sequencing program...does that make sense?

Maybe also the ability to right-click on an aircraft in the list and have a pop-up menu (similar to the standard Windows function) that might show Properties to detail information about that particular aircraft , Show only that might remove all other aircraft from the list, History to open a window showing the flight history of that particular aircraft etc.

ISTR asking for this about a year ago but maybe it is something others don't want/need?

Thanks & regards,

Does overflight logger work with radarbox ? Thanks m

Hi all,
1:- would like an "F" key or shortcut key stroke to "SHOW/HIDE" the Interface and the choice to have the Interface along the bottom of the screen as well as LEFT or RIGHT, along the bottom would allow you to see the relevent info on a flight selected instead of keep draging/expanding it.
2:- In the TOOLS or FILE menu a link to SAVE/BACKUP the NavData.db3 and MyLog.db3 files to the folder of your choice.
Thankyou.

Tested and working with the latest closed beta patch.

We've been doing a LOT of beta testing of various addons to ensure they work with the new port 30003 output.

Hello,

pictures in smartview.

Aloud to make directly changes by right click in the list (myflights, networklist, smartview)

thanks

Someone else has suggested this, and I've been proposing it to AirNav for ages, but I'd really like to see a floating info panel for the selected aircraft (photos and details that can be turned on and off, perhaps with the TAB key) when you are in full-screen map view - perhaps it would look like this:
