We are happy to announce that yesterday V1.4 passed one of the most intensive tests (done during 2 weeks) so the release is getting closer. It is being prepared to work 24/7/365 on major airline operation centers and memory does not raise above 65 Mbytes even after 2 weeks working nonstop. More news to come.

We are now still doing the final tests on the brand new MyLog feature. After this it will be beta tested by our 3 most experienced users. Only after that open beta testing. We will keep news coming.

But in practice, when shall can we dowload it ?
how long this "last" test ?

(a date please , not "in a few weeks" ...)

If we had a specific date we would pass it to our users. The problem is that we don't have it yet.

So to keep it simple:
- Before end of March: 100%
- Before end of February: 75%
- Before February 15th: 50%

Hope this makes it clear. :-)

You have to patient.

AirNav RadarBox is the first worldwide flight tracking software capable of getting data from the internet/hardware. It requires a lot of time to change the application and a lot more to test. It is a work of great responsability since we have many important customers (airlines, airports and research companies) working on it so we will never release it unless the criteria above are guaranteed.

As we have told before we want V1.4 to be fast, robust and reliable. It has to use low CPU and low RAM values. We will do whatever is needed to achieve this. If we cannot guarantee it we will simply not release it. That's why it hasn't been released yet.

Just a curiosity RadarBox Software has now 250 thousand lines of code.

So please continue to be patient. V1.3 works Ok for 99% of the users and V1.4 has a lot more interesting features.

Unlike other companies that continue to promise features that they know will never be released...AirNav Systems promises and delivers.
So you can be 100% sure it will be out when all issues are corrected.

For dates, see our post above.

My Radarbox is only on as backup to another ADS-B device because v1.3 does not allow me to keep aircraft seen in MyLog after I switch off. When this was found - and it is a major flaw for lots of users - I thought we would only be waiting a couple of months. I have now had my radarbox since early after its release and it still does not do the main thing I want. Log aircraft I see.

I have no complaints about it purely to watch aircraft on screen but the above fault means it is of little real value to me.  I suspect this note will be removed as I am not happy with you but please be aware it is frustrating and recalls the early days............ :-(

We will not remove the note, of course.
We are aware of that problem and of course it is totally corrected. In fact V1.4 comes with a new mylog feature inside that is almost a program inside another program.

You must understand the frustration.

Take today for exmple a U2S took off from Fairford (UK) and climbed to FL600 Yes FL600, but even having had it in the list for a long time when I closed down the session that item is lost to me for ever. Thank god I had it recorded in my other device as well.

Please, please don't keep us waiting a second longer than necessary

Not at all. We understand it. And be sure that after V1.4 you will never use RadarBox as a backup again.
