However to all addon developers it is not hard to do from our feed on port 7879 :)

Is that a five minutes delayed feed ?

Yes it is. Our concern would be if we created a similar google map with Live output that customers would add this to websites and break regulations by distributing Live information.

Hi Mark,

Its still in testing at the moment as other members of this foum can verify. We are just making sure everything is 100% perfect before we release. Should not be too long now.

Just a small thing (I hope) and I don't think its been requested previously....I have got into the habit of watching activity full screen and really miss the comfort of seeing the Messages/second varying.  Any way that it could be incorporated into the full screen toolbar ??

Regards
Bill

One other thing that I forgot to mention in my last upgrade request - much longer trails (like, dare I say, SBS).  I frequently take my ARB to The Hague and have the two "boxes" running side by side - given Schipol's  peculiar wind conditions there are very often some remarkable stacking patterns over the North Sea - I can only see them with long trail retention times - typically an aircraft trail remains for the entire screen traverse on the "other" box.......could this also be included in an upgrade - please ??

Regards
Bill

Hello Bill,

If you go to File > Preferences > General tab there is a option where you can adjust
the time the trail stays on the screen, default this is set to 300sec (5 min), if you increase
this value trails should be visible for the time you set this value too.

I watched some pretty amazing seperation today above the Ijsselmeer and the Flevopolder
(Artip holding area) when due to weather Rwy 27 was used for starts and landings during the morning landing peak.

Regards,

Marinus.

Hi Marinus,
Thank you for the suggestion.
I have the retention time set for 10,000 secs but this has no obvious effect as "seconds to remove trails lines" appears to be overridden by "seconds to hide timeout flight" (max user adjustable parameter 1440 seconds) My request really concerns the fact that the trails are aways a finite length (maybe 4 cm max) regardless of the time adjustment as the "end" seems to track the plane across the screen caterpillar style, rather than just growing longer !  I think it must be something to do with the way the software manages the incoming data to reduce processor load.
Or is there another trick that I have missed :-)

Regards
Bill

Hi Bill, now I see your point.  That feature would indeed be nice to have
in a future release....

Marinus.

Hi All,

i hope that in V1.4 it was possible to adjust the trails line.(with long time or
long trace - good idea)

For my experience, i like to "track", with the trails line, some specials flights
as technical tests (A380), photographics mission or when there is bad weather
conditions and some flights are "waiting" over the mediterranean ... and some times
only to observe flying circuits.

it's not necessary to have a long trace for all flight, but at least for the flight
who is tracking.

Actually it's too short trails.

With the SBS-1 it's works well.

An idea of the date of exit for v1.4 ???? we are in middle of January !!!!

The requests recieved lately will be pushed into 1.5 otherwise we will never finish 1.4 as we get requests daily.

We are hoping our testers will give it the thumbs up in a few weeks and we can release.

Hi,

so i understand, but actually the parameters of time of trial lines
do not work (or not upper 300 !!).

We look forward the 1.4 !!! few weeks !!!!
