RadarBox Manual
« on: October 14, 2007, 08:47:58 AM »
AirNav Good Morning,

As one of the pioneer users of RadarBox, I downloaded my copy of the manual way, way back and was wondering if there has been any updates to it since then. I recall some changes but just having had  a look at the download available today, it is difficult to see what has changed. I printed up a copy of the original (expensive in colour print terms) so would only wish to print up the changed pages.

The main document (or individual pages) does not appear to be dated and I could only find one or two pages with a date of 23/07/2007 on them (apologies if there are more)

Could you please advise what the policy is regards changes to the on-line document and perhaps set this up as a point from which you can advise us when changes are made. Obviously when the system settles down this may not be very frequent but with the current changes being made it would be great if the available documentation was up-to-date and changes easily identifyable. Also how to upgrade could be spelt out in the document.

Thanks in Advance

Mike Downes (Roadrunner)

Hi Mike,

There haven't been any extra changes. However with some new features we will add them into the manual or at least the help file in the future and advise of the change.

With 99% of people upgraded now, we won't add those details as all new boxes have the latest software, driver versions installed.

Noted and thanks. Just the upgrades - won't there be a standard format for all future upgrades so that a paragrpah on the standard way toi upgrade would be helpful, and don't forget, If I get a new PC or have a major problem with my PC  am I not going to need to re-install from the disc and then do the subsequent upgrades to get back to being up-to-date ?

In that case, you just need download 1.3 and install it, no further changes are required as your RadarBox will already have the latest driver.
