Thank you Squad but I do not think so. I think there are much more places in Europe (like EGLL) where much more can be "catched" then in my area of reception....:-)

Hi Glyn,
Your officially an A-Lister now.
You passed the 2500 mark by 16.
I bow my hat to you :-)
Your the Man.

Have to agree with you on the Midnight UTC thing,
very annoying, roll on version 2.1

Hey thanks for that Squad 701,

Checked yesterday @ 9:00pm local time yesterday evening and saw it had recorded 2668 aircraft for the day and as I write this MyLog is showing 2605 so far today.

There might even be a Chinook in there somewhere as I received a text from Terry telling me had logged his first one today but I haven't looked yet...too much work to do :-(

Kind regards,
-=Glyn=-

Hi John,

That's a hell of a total...can I just clarify that you are talking about 4107 individual & distinct Mode-S aircraft recorded and not including any multiple flights for those same aircraft?

Thanks & regards,
-=Glyn=-

That's a hell of a total...

Hi Glyn,

This is the total of ALL the hits made to RB in 24h and also where logged in "MyLog". The selection critirium for my report is "Starttime" with the selected date "Like" the date of yesterday. So, when an a/c was heard by my RB more then one time a day (p.e. in my case much KLM a/c) in different flights, all that different flights are included. That is why I am talking about "aircraft-movings" and NOT about "individuel logs".

You can see that in my attached file from last Sunday. If you sort this file on "Callsign" and "Regi" you will see the results of what I mean and see that one Regi made more than one flight that day.

I hope I made my self clear to you, if not please ask again and I will give it an other try.

Thank you for your interest!

Ahhh...that would explain the high totals then John...

All of my postings have been for individual & unique Mode-S aircraft recorded - not total aircraft movements - ie. just the one record for that aircraft in a day no matter how many flights it has recorded.

By way of comparison what would be your total be for individual/unique aircraft in a day then John?

Also is there an easy way for me to tell how many aircraft movements I have seen in a 24 hour period without resorting to any 3rd party tools to do the job?

Thanks & regards,
-=Glyn=-

Hi Glyn,

1. I am not sure about that but, ofcourse in my case, much lower.

2. I have no idea or this report can be made with RB; in my case I made reports with the help of the beautifull SQL-software what gives me verry much possibillities to make my own specifeid reports.

If Tarbat or an other SQL-specialist is listening to this I would ask to them or there is a SQL-syntax for making such a report as you mean. Also to remove all doubles of registrations and Mode-S codes in one report.

Hi John,

Well that's got to be the easiest thing to do...hell even I can do it! ;^)

Just open MyLog, select Today and see how many aircraft have been recorded!

Mine is showing 2756 for today so far (22:50 local - 21:50 UTC) so it should increase a little before it 'rolls' over into tomorrow.

Kind regards,
