I feel so inadequate.   My RB is on from 7am untill 11pm everyday, and the most I get in my log is around 350 :(  Where are you all located to get 2000+ per day?

Inadequate? I don't think so Chris...I'd trade some of your aircraft/RB/SQL knowledge for any number of my 2500+ aircraft anyday! :-)

I am based slap-bang in the middle of England - Banbury, Oxfordshire to be precise.

Will have a 24 hour run on Monday as away for the day tomorrow.

At the moment today (0700-1700- with an hour out for PC maintenance) =1556.

Law of diminishing returns mean that the first hours are always going to be the most numerically  productive as the count is aircraft not flights.

Today has been  a good day for military so far(for a weekend)  - with Canadian, French, Greek,Irish and Omani  flights as well as the usual USAF and RAF/RN/AAC.

Latest polar diagram attached

Some very impressive high scores there, I reckon theres lots of Radarbox-Envy going on. We may have to split this into regional and local area finals  :-)
2500 for the UK
2000 for Ireland
3000 for Holland (sorry John :-)

Cheers

Might be  nice if - when publishing a 24 hour score -  posters include a polar diagram and brief details of  antenna and  location (height above sea level  in feet or metres)

There's certainly some willy-waving going on in here...so here goes some more! ;^)

OK...I had logged in excess of 2600 aircraft for the day although the total was dropping by the time I took the screenshot.

Strange really as it was just before midnight UK time so just before 11:pm UTC...I would have thought that the totals should not have changed until midnight UTC - why does it do that anyway?

It seems to me that if I want to look at my log for yesterdays totals I should see just that - not yesterdays totals minus those aircraft that have been seen again today...does anyone know if this behaviour will change in v2.10 or has it been designed to stay that way?

A couple of screenshots attached - the first from MyLog after the totals were on the way down and the second my polar diagram just taken.

I am based in Banbury, Oxfordshire and have a Watson 1090MHz antenna on the top of a 17 foot pole on the gable end of my house which is @460 feet a.s.l.

This is connected to my Radarbox via 15m Westflex 103 and a rather dodgy looking, home made N plug->N socket->N plug joint (to replace the pathetic PL259 originally fitted by Wally & Standoff) in the loft to another 5m length of W103 into my computer room and into a short N Type->SMA pigtail.

Would be nice to make a direct N type connection into the RadarBox - has anyone ever 'upgraded' the SMA socket on their RadarBox out of interest?

Regards,
-=Glyn=-

Hi Glyn,

In the past I made often remarks to support about this item "reports". I also had my objections about the exactness about the reports.

When I see "My log" of this day there are lots of records incorrect or incomplete. But as I said before: I reported this to support in the past. Nothing has been done until sofar; maybe (and hopefully) in a next version this will be solved.
