Mounting a 1090 and VHF antennae on the same pole
« on: April 26, 2009, 09:42:04 PM »
Hey folks, over the next few weeks I am going to be buying and installing 2 new antennae, both from Solid State Electronics...

The SSE-BASE-128SJ and
SSE-1090SJ MK 2

I have a scaffold pole which is attached to the side of the chimney, which is 4 feet higher than the chimney pots, and wanting to use that.
However just wondering if anyone could tell me the best way of installing the two twigs off the same pole?

Thanks

James

Hi James

Your best bet is probably a double stand-off mount which bolts to your existing mast. eg:
