Our team has been very busy, this week, with the launch of the successful launch of the first ADS-B receiver in space. More news on the link below.

http://www.airnavsystems.com/forum/index.php?topic=2650.msg24157#msg24157

Now that this task has ended (for the next 2 weeks) we are pointing again at V2.10: we are finishing some corrections to 8 new reported problems and will pass them to the beta testers tomorrow.

Our aim is the following:
- Sunday May 31: pass final beta test exe to testers;
- Tuesday Jun 2: receive all input from beta testers;
- Wednesday Jun 3: if no more problems reported release the final beta on our forum. If more problems reported repeat the cycle above and decide again on Fri Jun 5.

Is the final beta for general release or selected users?

I would infer from "if no more problems reported release the final beta on our forum" that anyone who is interested gets to play with it at that stage.

My reading of that Malc and Dave is selected testers only, the whispers in Sterigia's ear must have been from Kinetic!

The final beta will go out on the forum and is to the public. Its not selected testers.

Hi ANS, thanks for clarifying that point, I'd read "final beta" as still being the testers' version.     Malc and Dave, I was vocalising out of my posterior sphincter again!

Since testing the menu problem and providing logs to Alex and Andre I have heard nothing for 10 days, I have stopped using the updated exe since it kept crashing out.

EMA,

Don't worry things are happening (internal testing as well). You should get an email soon with the new version.

You'll have to get used to that EMA, been there...got the t-shirt...;^)

I (and at least one other user) went through the same thing way back last August/September/October when we spent weeks trying build after build, capturing debug info, taking screenshots & video, sending numerous emails, running with no logging/alerts,  and missing many good contacts in that time...

Then all went quiet from AirNav and so I solved all of my problems by unplugging the RB completely - worked for me! ;^)

Heard nothing until @ 3 weeks ago when with the imminent release of v2.10 it has rekindled my interest in this addictive hobby again.

Here's keeping my fingers crossed...

Kind regards,

Ok, well version 2.10 is nearly ready as customers have mentioned it is in the beta stage.

Lets just stay away from silly infighting on this forum.

We are playing a no win game, release too early and any bug not caught we will get moaned at. If we release after fixing that bug we will get moaned at in the period is not released.

ANS as usual you are doing a great job, I know it can be a bit frustrating for some people, but you seem to have everything in hand as usual.

I am sure that you can imagine some of the impatience, as we all want our ANRB to work to their best and full potential.

Looking forward to the new release.
