Sorry but we don't. We are looking to have further bases in the different areas of the world so customers don't have to fork out a large amount on shipping back.

However if you buy from our dealers most will handle the repair proceadure themselves (in terms of either giving you a RB on the spot and sending of the other one or handling the sending of process). Though this does depend on dealers.

Unfortunately I picked a Dealer that is tighter than you.

Thanks

Can I just point out that the postage doesn't have to be expensive? I sent my RB from Britain to Portugal, airmail and fully insured, for less than £9 via the dear old Post Office.

I'ts slightly annoying, but it doesn't break the bank.

Hi Airnav sadly despite the email last night with reference number and the promise to contact me as soon as possible I have had no furhter word from support.
I was taking photographs tonight for my Nephew at his local football final so that helped take care of part of the evening. They won the cup and he is happy dare I say over the moon. I on the other hand feel as flat as a pancake.

I have returned home to a blank screen where the welcoming radar box map would normally be.  It's not there so perhaps a helpful email? No email of support or guidance on my next step. I'm unhappy, bored, lonely, I just can’t go on, ohh how I miss the flashing lights. Woahh there, Get a grip.

I would certainly not abuse your trust if it comes to a replacement box it would have been returned immediatly as I would have expected immediate support. Radar box is adrug and I need a fix and i need it sooner rather than later so please again I beg you "HELP ME"

I suppose if the family are still living with me I can return to them for a while, come to think of it when did I last see them!!!

John

As you can see I am trying to be patient and keep my cool but really I would appreciate some guidance, please don't leave me too long from continuing to enjoy this fantastic hobby.

Hi John,

We did reply to your ticket with details, we urge you to check your spam mail. We were replying within 10mins of your posts here, why wouldn't we reply? Its definitely in our sent items, I just checked.

If whatever reason you still can find it we will PM the message to you.

Regarding sending a replacement I am very sorry but few people have ruined it for everyone. We don't want to take risk and more importanly if we do it for you and someone else wants the same they will post and say you did it for him etc..

HI Folks just an update on the RB. I sent it today as requested by Airnav and allowing for protective packaging and receipted special delivery I was pleasently surprised to find the cost was £8.45.

In the meantime I am trying to content myself with visits to the forum and getting acquainted with the family once again. I'll keep you posted on how things develop and hopefully before long I will be up and running.

My heart goes out to you Canonjohns40D, maybe they will take up my idea of offering discounted second boxes, to previous owners, in case of emergency,
just like the condom in a frame sort thing :-)
Time to catch up on the latest seasons of 24, Lost and the Lord of The Rings trioligy.
Best wishes.

I can do some light traffic recording from the SBS here and send you the files.
It cost me 67.00 to send standard FedEx, that may make you feel better.

Would it be possible for AirNav to take a credit card number as a "bond" and then send a replacement?

No return of original Radarbox then card is charged.

Some of the big online retailers do this. I bought a DVD combi and it packed in. A replacement was with me before the old one was taken back, but they had my card details just in case.

Just a thought.

HI all just an update on day two of the Radar boxless House.

I had been running upstairs to check the screen when I hear overflying traffic. On finding the blank screen I had a tendancy to rant and rave and the Police are a bit fed up when during these fits I report the theft of the box Thankfiully following explanation they have not yet taken any action.

I have finally stopped just sitting there staring at the blank screen. The Doctor seems pleased I have started to recognise some of the closer family members, so the stronger dose of Prozac seems finally to be having some effect.

Some good news my new UHF/VHF aerial is to be delivered to me tomorrow so If the weather holds at least I might be able to listen on the scanner.

Thanks for all your support at this difficult time it is very much appreciated. I am considering starting a support group for others in this position. Anyhow bye for now the afternoon injection is due keep in touch.

You are lucky, cost me $60 to send to UK from Toronto, so we need a North American repair office ASAP.

Hi day 6 in the Radarboxless House and it gets no easier. The box was delivered last Thursday guranteed delivery for Friday but no word yet on the status of the box or if it is repair or replace.

A new UHF/VHF aerial arrives tomorrow so hopefully this will help fill the gap. I noted on here it has taken some 10days for the return of a box so at least I'm halfway there, maybe I'll get word soon .

To compound matters my PC crashed earlier and I'm reduced to the Daughters laptop. I need to get an external hard drive and save all my data to it and then its a case of rebuild the PC.

Maybe this is my run of bad luck over I can't waitt o get the RB connected you really do miss it.
