Interesting Military Aircraft

Didn't get a visual myself but it was flying around at 8,000' in the area that Marshalls use for air tests and there is a Tristar currently at Marshalls. My first thought was that the box was in it since it was a civilian, but that cannot be right as ADS-B was not around then. I assume they are either retrofitting or trialling it.

Just checked my log and it states that is was full ADS-B.

1518 to 1612

My location Huntingdon

Picked these two Polish Mil up earlier today:

48D842    2010/01/26 16:18:46 
48D845    2010/01/26 16:01:23

Both flying between 18000 & 19000. Anyone know of any serials and types?

RAF Tristar ZD949 43C1C0 flown by Marshalls up again with full ADS-B. Now over Attlebridge (1417Z).

With regards the Tristar, Marshalls is about 1/3 of the way through a cockpit upgrade for the RAFs fleet of 9

I think the first few were Mode-S only, it looks like the rest are getting the full ADS-B treatment. :-)

Thanks for that. I knew they were getting an upgrade but am surprised ADS-B is part of it.

Hi this is tracking on screen now 710392 Saudi Arabia Airforce/Government, HZ102 B737-8DP-BBJ2 HZ-102 ht 34300 decending hdg273 sqwk 3574 Transit (ORCAM) Berlin. Amend ht now level 34000.

edit He appears to be inbound Shannon. Seems to be in a hold N of Shannon presently 10.46am.
