Luckily caught the old girl overhead Oldham around 12:35 today - what a wonderful sight amidst a sea of Easyjet and Ryanair flights

Hi Dunc, pleased for you. Living only 6 miles from Culdrose and a mile from its satellite Predannack, I hanker for different things as we're so used to the Merlins, Sea Kings and Hawks, with occasional Lynx visits and infrequently Pumas.   We used to have a couple of Gazelle squadrons, but sadly lost them about 12 years ago.   Oh, for some F15s/16s/18s, A10s, Tornados or Typhoons!   Nimrods I hear on the R/T but rarely see.

Hi CoastGuardJon,
I live in Leicester and for me to get a Merlin is rare to say the least!
I currently am using only the aerial that came with the radarbox on my bedroom windowsill, but actually manage to pick up loads of C17s, C-5, C130, Kc135 and the odd Harrier and Tornado as well as F-15s.
I have finally persuaded the other half that an aerial on the roof is the way forward and all being well am buying one this week.
Hopefully i will then be able to to enjoy the exotic aircraft from the SW! :)

Hi Dunc, I've currently got Merlin ZH827, Sea King (771 SAR Squadron) XV670 on screen, audible and visible, also Harrier ZD437, but unfortunately can't see or hear that one.    Regularly get USAF (Reach) and RAF (Ascot?) C17s on screen, shame they don't have full info. and almost nightly 'Seychelles' flights for British military.

While testing some software changes this afternoon, I had this lady show up. Definitely one you don't see every day...

Now if only you could get it to show the correct ICAO type code (B17) ...
