Thanks to Airnav support
« on: September 27, 2007, 09:02:05 PM »
I had a problem with my Radar Box which started about 20 days ago when I suddenly suffered a dramatic loss of reception range. (I just received a/c within 25 NM - before I had a range of about 90-100 NM).

I asumed a hardware failure and informed Support from my problem and was told to check all my antenna connections. I did so but the antenna connections were all OK. I also tried the supplied antenna which also showed the same loss of range.

Support then gave me the advise to send the box to the manufacturer Primetec in Portugal to check the box and either to repair or to replace it, which I did on 19th Sept. in the afternoon.

I already settled for a longer time without watching the planes here in southern Austria - but:

Guess what: Today I got my box back - and it works perfect!

So I want to say thanks to Airnav support (and Primetec) for the quick repair and return service.

For the upcoming Version of Radar Box Software I have just one wish: Pls. remove (or make it to be clicked away) the second aircraft picture in favor of a larger screen and full aircraft/flight data on the bottom  of the Interface.

Best regards
Gerald

I would also very much like to picture space to be optional so to display a larger list than the current 16 mine displays.
Thanks
