Yes - anythig that's mssing gets downloaded from the internet - pics come from Airliners.net, and the routes come via the AirNav server from sources that only AirNav know.
If any aircraft details/photos/routes are missing, often just clicking the aircraft in the grid will prompt RadarBox to download them if they are available.
