Air Force 1
« on: March 30, 2009, 09:48:47 PM »
As you know, Air Force 1 is due to land at Stanstead some time tomorrow. I know it won't be plotted on the map but will I be able to see Air Force 1 show up in the ANRB list?

Got my box on as well but can't see anything yet either. Could be too early yet. He's due to arrive at Stanstead early evening approx 7pm so I've been reading.

Did anyone over the 'other side' of the pond catch him leaving?
Which of the Atlantic routes is active at present for West-East traffic?
Could give us an idea of his inbound route ...   via Iceland?
Intended landfall Scotland or Ireland?......
So who could see him!!!
Based in Hexham - Tyne Valley
Best view for RB is North of a line between EGNT and EGNC  - includes OTA and Spade, to EGPH above 7500ft.   Can be TRUE mobile with Mobile Broadband feed to Network.

I guess the Secret Service won't be too pleased with that considering the FAA Data feed is not showing the flight as its listed as military.

Well, maybe they shouldn't transmit the Flight ID as AF1 - it's pretty obvious!!

And with the multilateration trials currently taking place with Planeplotter, we may even be able to track the approximate position of AF1 ;)
