Hi Miguel

I think this may be a font problem - try changing your font (Files...Preferences) to Verdana and see what happens.

Hi Miguel
Goto  Map>Aviation signs>Station Labels there are 3 options : Identifier,Name & Box. Make sure that Box is not ticked and this should remove the box from around the station name

Hope this helps

Dave,

It's not the box around the station labels Miguel is complaining about. If you look very carefully you will see a little square at the end of the waypoint names. I think a change of typeface may cure it.

Sorry about that I didn't really notice that until I looked again. Other than what has already been suggested I can't help

Just try zooming in, and I think you may find that the boxes change to the runway layouts for the airfields in question.

I have just checked this with the batch in North Yorks - having viewed boxes when on a scale that shows England from EGNV to EGPD as the North South range.
When I move the map south I get boxes at EGXD, EGXU UK11, EGXE  Zoom in and the runway layouts appear.
Based in Hexham - Tyne Valley
Best view for RB is North of a line between EGNT and EGNC  - includes OTA and Spade, to EGPH above 7500ft.   Can be TRUE mobile with Mobile Broadband feed to Network.

I am not getting the problem here, but I am using Arial and Western Script.

What are you using, as in some script & Font sets the Block is used to indicate an unprintable character.
Could your sript be showing a Space character for some reason?

Hi.
I have the same problem :(
No idea how to remove them!
Also tried other fonts but the small annoying square was there all the time like now.

This is starting to sound like a language setting - can you guys in Portugal try an experiment, and change your Control Panel Regional and Language Options to "English United Kingdom", assuming it's "Portugese (Portugal)" at the moment.

While this would not be an ideal solution, if it works it will give AirNav somethng to work on!

Tried to change the language setting as suggested: no effect. the square sits there as a rock!
