I can't believe I missed it again :(  That's the second time.

Any suggestions on how to get an alert sent out to my workshop that could be heard over the sound of a circular saw!

Hi Tarbat,as you can see it was visable for over 30mins and at the same time has I last saw it,it circled around Inverness airport then headed up towords Lossimouth I losted it just opposite Kinloss offshore.

At last I've got it on my map!!

According to radio, they're doing "data gathering".

Now heading off to "do a vertical descent to a rig in the firth".  First time I've seen an aircraft flying sideways on the map!

Probably because it's a recent addition to the Bristow fleet, and ADS/B will be mandatory in the north sea (Netherlands sector) from the end of next month - see http://www.ais-netherlands.nl/aim/070816-070927/eAIP/html/eAIC/EH-eAIC-07-11-A-en-GB.html

So, hopefully more of the north sea helicopters will be ADS/B fitted soon.

Listening to the radio, the crew were obviously doing data calibration on this flight.  A couple of go-arounds at EGPE as well, before finally landing.  I lose aircraft below 1200ft at EGPE, so didn't see it land, but it was on Planeplotter at 0ft.

Ya, thanks for the  info Tarbat,it is strange to watch it doing those very tight maneuvers around EGPE.I am in Nottinghamshire so not able to pick it up radio.

Just departed EGPE again at 5000ft.  Looks like he's heading back to EGPD.
