Thanks Allocator,

The 896169 was showing an Emirates UAE412 flight number. Thought it could be a new A380 ? as I keep discovering new 380's on the network.

The Yahoo mode S group has 896169 as A6-EWI B77L delivered to Emirates 26 Jan

Hi All

Live near Fairoaks where a number Army and Navy lynx are on upgrades. Heard rumours that included S-Mode fitting.

Noted Gazelle ZB673 arrive on presumably a crew ferry.  Soon after new hexcode 43C533 appeared.  Couldn't get down there in time for a tieup.  Can anyone tie this up?

Cheers

Just answering my own post.  The Lynx has come out.

ZD283 was seen at Fairoaks using the same callsign.  So hexcode 43C533=ZD283

For tie ups of codes that aren't yet on GAS or airframes.  I would seriously recommend the yahoo mode S group at.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Mode_S/

Members who use both Radarbox and SBS put in questions all the time about what is the tie up for such and such code.  Invariably other members will know the answer and post the reply.

They have a search function, so you can search for the code/tie-up in other peoples logs.

Plus if you upload your daily logs there is an automated Parser service that compares your uploaded log against an SBS database of current tie-ups. This will show you where your navdata log hasn't kept track of registration changes and highlight miscodes to you.
